We pride ourselves on providing a wide range of authentic Italian dishes from various regions of Italy. Along with our dishes we serve traditional breads fresh from our ovens and a variety of flavorsome cheeses. The following is a small sampling of what we offer. Start your dining pleasure with our signature antipasto misto which varies based on seasonal availability of ingredients. A typical antipasto misto platter will include pickles and other firm vegetables such as artichoke, stuffed mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions, cold cuts and crostini.
Italian Wedding Risotto Soup – A firm favorite for weddings, this is a hearty sausage meatball soup filled with flavor and color, with a dash of risotto.
Garden Minestrone – Freshly harvested garden vegetables and zesty tomato give this wonderful pasta, bean and vegetable soup its amazing color and mouthwatering flavors.
Southern Italian Chicken Soup – The combination of flavors in this okra, black-eyed pea and chicken soup, along with the tortellini added at the last minute make this an easy choice.
Gourmet Pizza – Choose your toppings from a range of meats, vegetables and fruits, or allow our world-class chef to tantalize your taste buds with one of his special creations all served on a traditional Italian pizza crust with his homemade tomato sauce.
Spaghetti with Meatballs in the House Tomato Sauce – Freshly made spaghetti noodles are topped with the house tomato sauce and meatballs, with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Served with garlic bread this is an entire meal in itself.
Lasagna – Layers of cheese, meat and tomato sauce and freshly made lasagna pasta noodles baked to perfection and then topped with an additional layer of crispy cheese that will melt in your mouth. Served with plenty of warm crusty bread and garlic butter (if desired).
Cacciatore – Tender pieces of chicken are cooked to perfection with tomato, onion and garlic. Served with your choice of crusty bread warm from the oven or freshly made al dente style pasta.
Linguine with Clam Sauce – (when available) A mildly spicy dish that combines our freshly made Linguine pasta served with the chef’s special homemade tomato sauce and cooked clams.
Tiramisu – A classic favorite, our tiramisu is delicately made so that you can enjoy the burst of flavors as it hits your taste buds. Topped with fresh fruits of the season.
Gelato – Your choice of two house flavors, this traditional Italian ice cream dessert is the perfect way to end your dining experience with us. Rich and creamy this sweet frozen delight is sure to be a winner with both young and old.
Profiterole Tower – Upon request Santa Maria Catering will gladly provide your occasion with a profiterole tower that is worthy of being center stage of the buffet table. Profiteroles are stacked in pyramid-style to a staggering height of 2 feet, with your choice of caramel or chocolate sauce drizzled down all sides. Each profiterole case is filled with your choice of pastry cream, whipped cream or custard.
Our world-class chef has an extensive repertoire of both traditional and modern Italian dishes, and will endeavor to provide you with any specific dishes you request, provided ingredients are readily available and in season. Special dietary needs are catered to also, such as vegetarian. We also endeavor to cater to those who choose to follow a gluten-free diet. Where possible some dishes can be modified to the client’s specifications but we will need sufficient prior notice in order to accomplish this.
